Motivation
None of my stories were ever lived alone, even the chapters that felt painfully isolating at the time.
I was shaped in the middle of chaos by a handful of otherworldly people.
But I was also held together by something much bigger than me: my children.
Not always just my children and sometimes, those children had fur and four legs.
I’ve been blessed with some of life’s greatest four-legged souls who showed me what unconditional love really looks like.
My two daughters, who have learned some of life’s hardest lessons right alongside me.
The daughter I didn’t get to raise. She forever changed the way I move forward, making sure I never repeat the same mistakes.
And those little souls I’ve been honored to be “Auntie” to.
Every single one of them is the future of Unfiltered Unhealed.
One day, they will look back. They’ll make sense of what we lived through, what they experienced, and they’ll choose to do it differently - for their own children.
That is why this matters so much.
We have to heal out loud so they don’t have to whisper. So they can live louder, freer, and better than we did.
They are the reason I keep choosing better, even when it’s hard.
This isn’t just about what we’ve survived, it’s about what they won’t have to.
Every ceiling we break is a doorway for them. Every time we choose growth over repetition, we rewrite what their future can look like.
That’s why I speak. Why I reflect. Why I face the hard parts of myself head-on.
And I invite you to, too.
Because we know better now…
and we must choose to do better.
